Agricultural training has traditionally been associated with people already working in farming, but at Kuzulake Farms, our programmes are built for a much wider audience — youth, women, smallholder farmers, farmer cooperatives, community groups, NGOs, schools, and aspiring agripreneurs.
Youth in Plateau State and across Nigeria increasingly see agriculture as a viable career path rather than a fallback option, and structured training gives them a faster, more confident route into the sector than learning by trial and error alone.
Women have also been a particular focus of our training work, including through our partnership with Women for Women International, which has empowered over 150 women through smart farming instruction.
Whatever the starting point, Kuzulake Farms structures its training to move participants from theory into hands-on practice — because agriculture, more than most skills, is learned by doing.
